Reasons why you should do CrossFit

We emphasize INTENSITY…. Intensity, of course, is relative, allowing everyone to train at a level appropriate to his or her own physical and psychological limitations. Most traditional exercise programs promote low to moderate intensity. Ever heard the myth that, to burn more fat you need to workout at a lower intensity? This is horribly misguided information that continues to be spread even while current scientific research has found that shorter duration, higher intensity exercise is in fact better for you. Intensity is not something to be afraid of. It is the magic. It’s the secret ingredient that will change your life and body.
We have a Definition of Fitness – CrossFit has defined fitness as “an increase in work capacity across broad time and modal domains”. What this means is that the fittest people on earth should be great in everything, but specialize in nothing. A Marathon runner will be very good at long distance running but how many pull ups or how strong are they, in return a 100m sprinter is extremely strong and powerful but how will their fitness be with 5 rounds of 400 meters run, 30 pull ups and 30 Double unders. We train across the whole fitness board.
Crossfit has a community…. you will walk into the gym and within 5 minutes know the names of everyone in your group. The trainers will get to know you extremely well, your strengths, weaknesses, and family, what you did last week. You don’t get that at our health and fitness providers. You ll be lucky to speak to anyone but the young lady on the front desk.
You will never get board…our motto is “Constantly Varied, Functional movements executed at high intensity”. No two session will ever be the same, which keeps you body guessing. This leads to greater adaptions. You will never stop learning about yourself and others.
Crossfit is life changing – I ve seen it so many time not to believe it. The results you see from Crossfit transfer over to other aspects of life. The confidence that it delivers will allow you to perform activities you never thought possible. Not only will you feel better physically, but most people notice changes in their performance at work, at home, and in their relationships.
