Personal Training the CrossFit North Devon Way

At CrossFit North Devon, we specialize in Fitness and Functional Movements. You won’t find any fads diets or weight loss schemes. What you will find is a box with bars, weights, kettlebells and space.

We are a community of people who have decided that “average just isn’t enough” Our fitness programme is designed around metabolic fitness, strength, flexibility. We like to play and learn new skills – just like children do. As a result of CrossFit you will change your body shape, increase lean muscle mass and decrease fat.

A Completely New Experience
How many times in the last year have you had 15 minutes to do As Many Rep As Possible (AMRAP) of Kettlebell Swings, Sit Ups, and run 200m or Pull Ups and Deadlifts, mixed with some gymnastics? Plus actually talk and communicate to other people in the gym…..

CrossFit is humbling…. it doesn’t matter how fit you are. People have a common respect of anyone that participant in CrossFit. We all feel the same emotions and pain.

Advice from friends, gym trainers and magazines can be confusing, overwhelming and contradictory, and can leave you in a pickle. Step 1….start by coming to see us at the gym (we call it a BOX) and talk though your options. This is a perfect opportunity to see if you like us and ask any question you have. We will support you every step of the way. Our aim is to provide North Devon, with the premium Strength and Conditioning facilitiy, Coaching and training.

Anyone can get stuck in a rut. CrossFit is define as
“Constantly Varied, Functional Movements, performed at High Intensity” WOD’s will constantly engage you with new challenges and ways to train. You never know what the WOD will be.

You Want To Be Pushed
Like anyone else, even I don’t work as hard as I do with someone standing over me, supporting, challenging and not letting me slack off just because it’s getting hard!

You’re Training For A Sport Or Event
We can help you with sport training and programmes for anything from marathon events, badminton and rugby. CrossFit is know as a General Preparedness Programme (GPP) which means we have a broad domain of fitness that benefit athletes, clients, and individuals in pretty much every sport and movement possible to mankind! Injuring prevention, movement efficiency and flexibility are all under this banner. Wow!!!!

You’re Motivated By Accountability
One of your BOX rules, which you ll see as you walk into the gym is “Learn to Count!” and “Don’t Cheat” I am not paid to count your reps, I am paid to get you fit, change your life and help you achieve your lifestyle and fitness goals.

Many people that train with CrossFit North Devon have seen transfer into everyday life, career development, relationships and new found energy.

I feel the best aspect of CrossFit that you have achieved every time you walk into the gym. You have accepted a challenge and push yourself harder than you thought. You are a 3% minority that DO CROSSFIT, and that’s a pleasant feeling.
