Group Foundations run every Tuesday & Thursday Evening between 8-9pm.
Four Group coaching sessions designed to build upon each other & gradually introduce you to new movement, equipment & training techniques.
Six constantly varied, mixed intensity & fully Coached classes, designed to be fun & challenging, whilst further developing your new skills.
There's currently 27 classes to choose from.
Secondly we look at your bodies ability to correctly perform foundational bodyweight movement such as the squat & press-up & Hollow Rock. We show you how to to use breathing and the contraction of your core muscle to brace the movement of the arms and legs.
Building upon the previous two elements, our main focus here is to introduce you to the correct execution of up to 11 barbell techniques (dependant on ability). As your muscle tone increases so does your metabolism & this means a higher consumption of calories, resulting in a more athletic & leaner you.
There's no point developing muscle and not being able to run 50 meters. To help you develop your Aerobic & Anaerobic fitness, each class provides you with an exciting, competitive & ever-changing conditioning challenge, in a circuit based workout.
Hi! We are Steve and Jason, co-owners of CrossFit North Devon. Our first CrossFit facility was founded in 2012 and has grown to a 3,000 square foot professional training facility in Barnstaple.
All our coaches are fully CrossFit certificated or have Strength and Conditioning degrees. Additionally, our coaches regularly attend seminars by some of the world's top Coaches and have studied within the fields of Bodybuilding, Martial Arts, Track & Field, Olympic Weight Lifting, Powerlifting and Gymnastics. We have competed in various masters (40+), local and international CrossFit competitions and have the ability to program to an extremely high level.
